Philosophy
The goal of Temple Israel Early Childhood Program is to provide a professional, nurturing and stimulating environment for all our children. It is a child-centered program where age-appropriate activities challenge each child to develop his/her own potential – socially, emotionally, intellectually and physically.
Our program is offered within a Jewish context that encourages the children to explore their Jewish identity through classroom and holiday-oriented family events held throughout the year.
Classes are staffed by teachers chosen for their qualifications and experience
in working with young children. Their warmth and caring provide the foundation necessary to encourage the social, emotional and academic development in each individual child.
“The Best Places to Raise Your Kids 2009”
“Ten-square-mile New Rochelle, the suburban home of Rob and Laura Petrie in
“The Dick Van Dyke Show,” is still a relatively affordable place in ritzy Westchester County. New Rochelle is an ethnically diverse place with a bustling downtown
and a mix of single-family homes and apartments.”
